Swarmer Alert! Termites Are Swarming in Florida.
Here’s the steps we take installing the Sentricon® Termite Colony Elimination System to solving your termite problems, once and for all!
Learn more about Sentricon monitoring and FAQs.
Step 1: Property inspection
First, your property is inspected for signs of termites.
Step 2: Sentricon placement
Then, Sentricon stations are placed in the soil around your structure. Where a building is edged with concrete sidewalks, driveways or parking lots, a concrete coring device may be used to place the stations.
Step 3: Station inspection
The stations are checked regularly for termite activity.
Step 4: Termites found
When termites are found in one or more stations, they are transferred to a Baitube* device containing Recruit* IV termite bait. The device containing the termites is then placed back in those stations.
Step 5: Captured termites feed and returned
The captured termites feed on Recruit IV, tunnel out and send other colony nestmates back to feed on the bait. As they do so, the colony starts to decline and will eventually be eliminated.
Step 6: Remain vigil
After a colony has been eliminated, the bait is replaced with new monitoring devices. Your pest control professional will continue to inspect these to discover any new colonies that might invade your property.

Swarmer Alert! Termites Are Swarming in Florida!
Termite swarms occur when winged reproductive termites leave an established termite colony to mate and form new colonies. They pose an alarming reminder that termite colonies are in a structure or surrounding areas, looking for new places to feed and thrive. Annually, termites cause an estimated $5 billion to $10 billion in property damage in the United States.
What do you do when swarmers are spotted?
Consider it a warning that a subterranean termite problem may exist somewhere in the structure, especially if the swarm occurred indoors, and get help. We are excited to offer a long-term solution that actually eliminates the entire termite colony from the structure, the Sentricon System.
